We’re a little jealous. Is it fair that flowers get to be beautiful at literally every stage of their life AND death?

We can find meaning in every stage of a flower’s life:

  • Their bud - we celebrate new life and opportunity

  • Their bloom - for what it looks like to realize your full potential

  • Their death - that all life is ephemeral and we should make the most of each moment

Cutting your flowers at a particular stage will determine how they fade. The key is to dry them out, and celebrate your petals de morte. Here’s some inspiration on how to show off your buds in their after-life. Try one out this week and share with us!

To start - mini-bouqs are everything. We can never get enough of them. Save your Petalfox bouquet, dry it out and then break it up into mini bouquets and wrap them up in paper. Share the beauty of dead flowers with others and spread your trendy, DIY love.

If you’re into studying flowers or keeping things #educational - this flower-box-study-guide is SO PERFECT. Dry your flowers and place each one in it’s own box. This artist made it into an art piece by writing in quotes and notes for an artsy look, but we think you could swap what you write for the flower names and what they bring to your environment. Whatever you choose, this will make your space looks studious and artistic.

A sweet and lovely hanging flowers look. A different take on a “wreath” - a straight and simple style. Dry out your Petalfox blooms, find a stick or something straight as a base and wrap (or glue, or both) your flowers onto it. Once you’re finished, attach some string and hang it up!
